Likely Lodgepole Pine (two needle an md short). Collected from Tahoe, Sierras in Oct 2025. Potted in pumice, recovery in greenhouse.
Full sun is essential.
Well-drained soil, avoid overwatering as they are drought-tolerant.
Needles: Distinctive grey-green, usually in bundles of three, longer than Ponderosa pine.
Requires consistent, aggressive feeding and specific techniques to create dense foliage close to the trunk.
