Coast Redwood Shohin, #25XX
Collected mid-Nov 2025. Shohin potential to build out taper or define trunk(s) and lower budding/branching. Yet to define if building up a Shohin to reduce to a chonky Mame.
Curious—when collecting, many were small trunks emerging from the soil, while others like this had an almost burl-like root-level bulge. I’m hoping to us that as a fat base and observe many shoots above and hopefully many roots at the soil level.
Potted into pumice for a year, nursery pot. Starting off in a greenhouse.
