Consistent moisture, requiring daily watering in growing season to keep soil moist but not waterlogged.
They are tropical, needing temperatures above 65 F and protection when it drops below 45 F.
Feed frequently with high-nitrogen fertilizer and prune back new shoots to one leaf pair to develop ramification.
Pests: Susceptible to mealybugs, scale, and aphids; treat with pesticides if found.
Styling: Known for hanging flowers, often styled with a "broom" or formal upright, but flexible due to vigorous growth.
