Hardwood cuttings after a workshop of much pruning.

  • Potted in 3” pots filled with used/rinsed perlite mix.

  • Hormone: Used 0.8% on hardwood (e.g. Princess Persimmon & Hornbeam). Used 0.1% on twigs.

  • Placed in a covered clear plastic bin, misted, and on a warming matt.

  • Larger branches used wires to hold position.

  • Also lace-maple cuttings, olive cuttings.

March moved some outdoors

  • Misting each day and holding up

Feb 15 Benefitted by heat

  • Humidity, misting, and heat mat

  • Also some in ziplock bags, misted and near/on the furnace
