Coast Redwood, Yamadori, #2501 A/B
Jan 11, 2026 collecting near Skyline. Coast Redwoods.
Abstract Hollowed Trunk
The largest piece may grow roots, but after digging out the exposed small trunk we discovered it to be part of a hollowed trunk below the soil. It will be an abstract form, if it takes.
I owe a great deal of credit to my chainsaw wielding collecting coach. Expose below the soil and see if there is more interest. And as it looked immovable or too big to dig, some may be well worth the effort. Also in seeing what material has value and others having less.
