Ginkgo Cuttings
An experiment on cuttings propagation of ginkgos, again. I have had no success in the past with hormone powder and soil attempts. Gary S (SBBK) has had high success just putting in water to root.
Attempts shown, modeled after an Instagram reel using coco coir in a bag. Also attempted in soil—but wired to immobilize potential roots.
Placed in a perforated bag, wired tightly and sitting in a diluted “SuperThrive” water basin.
Attempting use of a tea bag, sitting in the solution.
Warming mat.
Also straight water.

Tree was on Ralston, near the freeway, about 50ft tall, but relatively small leaves. Also observed this pollen cones from this male tree. Will not seed.
