Glueing wire to a stone—I stress of 2-part epoxy, in Japan they use facial tissue (Kleenex) and superglue.
Superglue on tissue paper fuses wire down, acting like putty.
The thinner the CA glue the better.
Wrap a single layer around the wire, place in down and apply glue.
Can use cotton or baking soda in place of facial tissue.
Places 1:1:1 soil under to help stabilize.
Applies muck afterwards.
Adds soil and gently chopstick, it may knock off the muck walls.
Leave it for a year to recover and build roots—will hold off any styling or decandling.
Cover with sphagnum moss.
Finally covered with normal green moss. Avoids fluffy moss. Pins some sheets down with “U” wires against the slope or sides.
Signs when repotting is needed—if it looks weak. Likely once every 10 yrs.
