Pulling out the Shade Cloth

Mid-May and reaching mid-80’s. Had cleaned up the garden and placed a tree or two in a less seen spot, lacking water for a few days. A trident and elm, both early in development, showed signs of watering distress.

Hydrated them. Put them in shade or shade cloth and wishing they recover.

Shade cloth will go up this weeK across the most exposed (deciduous) bench. Side of yard has limited full sun, and the Yamadori Sierra junipers are under 40% shade cloth.

Pines and sun loving trees are in full sun, as best as I can.
