Local Collecting in Fall

Visited a friend’s property along Skyline, between rainy days/hours. Looking higher, under the PG&E lines where they clear cut.

Collected one Redwood with a 4-5” base and multiple trunks. Will build a Shohin like recent collections.

Collected two other small Mame bases.

Collected one Douglas Fir, not big but 1-2” trunk with lots of underground movement. Will hope the greenhouse recovery will allow this to be an interesting Shohin or Chohin.

Overnight soak in diluted Super Thrive.
