Late August collect not ideal, but I had free time. My friend’s property. Very straight out of the ground but a few bends and taper below ground. Non-traditional movement at the base, but if it back buds to the base I can chop to a Shohin.
Collected at Grace’s on Labor Day weekend. Considering smaller stock (Mame or Shohin), and possibly scout out and mark for winter collection.
Soak roots & soil in Thrive fertilizer for 24 hrs, will plant in a wood grow box with much medium pumice and medium akadama, then old soil mix. Will bag and mist and keep in the shade.
