Wiring a juniper with copper wire.
Spiral wind wire at 60 degrees, 45 min, more open and easier to wire and bend.
Practicing selection of wire size for similar size branches.
Seat the shoulder of the wire well and have enough length to wire the branches.
Remove small foliage that are not woody branches.
Eliminate or gin, a lower bar branch.
He creative, all branches do not need to angle downwards. Some can bend down or up at extreme angles to fill spaces.
Wire pads at the end of one branch, secondary enter branches can be joined into a pad, but do not join pads from another primary branch.
For Junipers remove lower/downward, foliage or branches.
Can thin out foliage.
Let this grow out a year and then sell it. It’s not ideal general material, but good practice for wiring.
Repotting
Anything in early development, can repot almost anytime. Up-pot or putting into a colander.
Deciduous in January is okay.
But our more refined and older trees should wait until later in spring.
