Plan the Plan

My goal is to focus on a smaller group of trees, document a plan, consult peers/teachers, execute to the plan and adjust.

• Take a photo of the start — does it have a front yet?

• Outline sketch (Procreate), then copy and design concepts of options and desires.

• List the progression of steps, consult on the timing or conditions

• Journal progress

Segregate the trees on benches

for those to enjoy as the go through refinement, compared with those earlier in development, compared to raw stock and propagation.

Watering, wire management, sunlight and care should be focused.

Cull out plants with little to no potential

Is there any recovery or experimentation to learn from?

• Develop root-base then chop low (clip n grow)?

• Add early movement for mame or Shohin?

• Cull out poor material (leaf size, long internodes, scarring, flaws)
